What WifiCore Does
WifiCore is a networking utility built to make router access and everyday Wi-Fi tasks faster and easier.
Core features include:
- Detect your local gateway/router IP and open the router admin page.
- Save and revisit router pages you choose (records stored on your device).
- Run speed tests and keep a local history.
- Scan nearby Wi-Fi networks (when supported by your Android version/device).
Important: WifiCore is not a VPN and does not intercept, reroute, or modify your internet traffic.
It provides tools and shortcuts based on your device connection and local network information.

Data We Collect
WifiCore collects only the minimum information needed to operate core features and improve stability.
Depending on what you use, this may include:
- App diagnostics (basic crash logs / error reports) to improve performance.
- Local records you create (saved pages, speed test history, Wi-Fi scan history) stored on your device.
- Advertising data (if ads are enabled): ad providers may process limited device identifiers to serve ads and measure performance.

Data We Do NOT Collect
WifiCore does not collect or store sensitive personal data. Specifically, we do not collect:
- Router passwords, Wi-Fi passwords, or any credentials you enter on router pages.
- Contacts, photos, messages, call logs, or files on your device.
- Precise GPS location for tracking purposes.
- Browsing history outside the app.
Router login happens on your router’s own page. Any credentials you type are handled by your router page/browser/webview,
and are not transmitted to our servers by WifiCore.

Permissions & Why We Need Them
Android may require specific permissions for network utilities. WifiCore requests only what is necessary:
- Wi-Fi / Network access: to read connection details and enable network tools.
- Location (Android requirement): some Android versions require location permission to scan nearby Wi-Fi networks.
WifiCore does not use it to track you.
- Nearby Wi-Fi Devices (Android 13+): used for Wi-Fi scanning features where available.
- Internet: required for speed tests, opening router pages, and loading ads (if enabled).

Ads & Third-Party Services
To keep the app free, WifiCore may show ads. Advertising partners (such as Google AdMob or Meta Audience Network)
may collect or process limited information (e.g., advertising identifiers and device signals) to serve and measure ads.
These partners operate under their own privacy policies. Where supported by Android, you can limit ad personalization
from your device settings.
WifiCore does not sell your personal data. Ad partners may use device identifiers for ads, analytics, and fraud prevention.

Data Storage & Retention
Most records (saved pages and histories) are stored locally on your device. You can remove app data anytime by:
- Clearing records inside the app (where available), or
- Uninstalling the app / clearing app storage in Android settings.

Children’s Privacy
WifiCore is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
If you believe a child provided personal data, contact us and we will take appropriate action.

We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect improvements or legal requirements. When we do, we will update the
“Last updated” date at the top of this page. Continued use of the app means you accept the updated policy.
